Anamaria Martinca is an actress from Romania. She made her debut on the huge screen with Sex Traffic by Channel 4 and won she was awarded the British Academy Television Award was given for the Best Actress. She is fluent in French, German English, and Romanian. Her mother was a violinist, Her father is a theatre professor at one of Romania's best theater schools. Her role as a character in Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film, 4 luni 3 weeks si 2 zile (4 months 3 weeks and 2 days) earned her the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two additional awards: the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Also, she was as a character in The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. She portrayed Yasim Awar on BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca has appeared in The Romanian drama Boogie along with Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. In the movie Fury (2014), she appeared as Irma, the German woman, who was Emma's aunt.
